This professional learning prepares educators to teach the first half of the four-volume Structured Reading and Spelling (SRS) program—Volumes 1 and 2—designed for high school students and adults who need intensive foundational literacy support. Participants learn to deliver explicit, structured literacy instruction using both Standard and Accelerated pathways, building skills from word-attack and decoding to morphology, comprehension, and composition. Through research-based methods and progress-monitoring tools, educators gain confidence and knowledge to meet older learners where they are and guide them toward functional, independent literacy. Additional training for SRS Volumes 3 and 4 will be available as self-paced, on-demand asynchronous modules, allowing educators to continue their learning and extend implementation seamlessly across the full SRS program.
